LIONZ 2026 will be held at Pullman Auckland from Saturday 6 June to Sunday 7 June 2026.

We will run the always popular sawbones workshop on Saturday morning which is a great opportunity to connect with your peers and encourage medical students and junior doctors to give Orthopaedics a go!

We have an exciting line up with guest speakers; Dr Tony Fernando Psychiatrist, former Buddhist monk shares advice on managing stress and we also have Dr Katherine Stannage, Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon, head of OWL and all round amazing human who will share her journey through orthopaedics with us.

On Saturday night we have a fabulous black tie dinner planned and we will conclude our meeting with a research and mentoring half day session on Sunday.

We can’t wait to see everyone there for a weekend of learning and fun!
