Terms and Conditions

General

Tsquared Events is committed to following fair business practices. To this end we assure customers that the operation of this website follows the Model Code for Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce published by the New Zealand Ministry of Commerce, and that we faithfully observe our obligations as set out by the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. 

Pricing

Any prices displayed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and Include NZ GST at the applicable rate, unless stated otherwise.

Paid Event Registrations

Once you have registered for this event you will receive an invoice from Society of Construction Law (NZ) Inc and payment is required at that point.

Society of Construction Law (NZ) Inc reserves the right to defer or cancel any event if there are insufficient bookings or conditions arising beyond our control.

Society of Construction Law (NZ) Inc reserves the right to not refund fees when cancellation by the registrant has occurred. Cancellations by registrants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Individuals are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations. Society of Construction Law (NZ) Inc does not accept liability for hotel, travel or meal costs before, during or after the event.

Payment

Payment is required either by credit card on completion of your registration, or by direct credit within 7 days of receiving your invoice. Tsquared Events will issue receipts for all payments received on behalf of Society of Construction Law (NZ) Inc.

Transferring Registration policy

Registration may be transferred to another person due to unforeseen circumstances provided this is advised by email to tanya@tsquaredevents.co.nz  no later than 5pm on Tuesday, 24 June 2025.
Transfer of registration will incur a $50 processing fee if received after 5pm on Tuesday, 24 June 2025.
There will be no refund of any difference between the registered delegate’s initial registration fee and the fee of the replacement delegate.  However, SCL reserves the right to charge any difference in registration fee should the replacement delegate’s registration cost more than the original delegate’s (eg:  a member requests to be replaced by a non-member).

Registration cancellation and refund policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing by email to tanya@tsquaredevents.co.nz
The dinner ticket is also included in the member and non member registration fee, if you opt out of attending the dinner, there will be no refund for this.
Cancellations received on or before 30 May 2025 will be charged an administration fee of $100. 
No refund will be given for registration cancellations received after 30 May 2025 (including “no shows” at the conference).

Privacy Policy

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:
• name
• contact information
• location
• billing or purchase information

We collect your personal information in order to register and communicate with conference attendees. Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter your contact information, we'll be unable to register you for the conference. We keep your contact information safe by storing in EventsAIR and this is only accessed by Tsquared Events.  EventsAIR does not store any credit card details when delegates pay, that information is simply sent to the payment gateway.  You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
